The Knots of Freedom earrings were Inspired by the remarkable escape of Tho Tho, an artisan at Eden, who was manipulated into captivity where she was kept 3 stories up for months. Yet, despite her circumstances, Tho Tho never gave up hope. Instead, she collected scraps of cloth, which she tied together to create a rope that she used to escape from a third story window. Each Knots of Freedom piece is a symbol of the patience and fortitude it takes to go through the healing process.
Gold:

- To care for gold-plated jewelry, use a non-abrasive jewelry cleaner safe for plated parts or mild soap and water. Use a soft cloth to carefully clean the chain. Rinse with lukewarm water and allow to dry completely.
- Buffing your plated jewelry with a soft cloth is an effective way to keep your pieces lustrous. Do not use a jewelry polishing cloth, as this can damage the finish.
Silver:

- To care for stainless steel hoops, combine a mixture of warm water and mild dishwashing soap in a bowl. Dip a soft, lint-free cloth into the soapy water and gently wipe the stainless steel jewelry with the damp cloth until the piece is clean. Wipe remaining soap off jewelry using a moist cloth dipped in clean water. Dry jewelry well with a clean towel and leave to air dry. Once dry, a jewelry polishing cloth can be used to shine it.
- Polish sterling silver posts with a jewelry polishing cloth. If more attention is needed, gently hand wash in a solution of warm water and mild dishwashing liquid. Use a soft toothbrush for more abrasive cleaning if needed. Thoroughly rinse and dry before storing to avoid tarnishing. Never clean in bleach.
