      About Joffa

      On Hope + Vine

Over 50% of the homeless population have spent time in foster care. 25% of youth in foster care will become homeless within 4 years of aging out of the system — 20% will become homeless the moment they age out. Less than 3% of former foster youth graduate from college.

This domino effect makes a career that requires higher education nearly impossible. Hope + Vine believes that, like the enduring vine, we can grow wherever we are planted with hope and a little help. That’s why Hope + Vine provides a living wage to former foster youth who have aged out of the system and provide mentorship while they work toward their dreams and grow into self-sustaining adults.
