With the idea that we all benefit when we help each other, one dream of Elizabeth’s Voice is to empower their artisans to give back to their own community — a dream that is often realized, with many of the women fostering local children and making visits to the local hospital. 100% of the profits are reinvested into the business and keep women in Uganda working.
Elizabeth’s Voice is a nonprofit in Uganda that employs women with no formal education and limited work opportunities. They provide a dignified wage, job skills training, temporary housing, daily meals, and pay school tuition for the children of the artisans who create their handmade products.
